Cereal Time!

I can't even believe Gabriel is already 4 months old. Since he spits up so horribly I decided to go ahead and start cereal in the morning to see if that helps at all. He did pretty good but it got a little too thick and he started making faces, shivering, and gagging a little bit. He was looking at me like geez Mom what are you feeding me!

Chicken n Play

Yesterday we went to a friend's house for a playdate. After we left I decided to go to Chick- fill- a for lunch. After I told Nico where we were headed he said "Next Stop.... Chicken n Play"

Our Mornings

I love waking up and walking into each of the boys' rooms in the morning. I'll flip Gabriel over and he looks up at his mobile then me and smiles, after that I'll go to Nicolas, he'll be in bed reading a book. Once the door opens he looks up and smiles and says "oh! Hi Mommy!!"
And that is the wonderful start to my day!

Nico was saying his blessings the other day in the car, his top ones were God bless Jecca (his cousin), God bless Mommy, Papa, and Nicolas. God bless elevators and the elevator dings but he left out his little brother. I asked what about Gabriel and he said no Mommy not baby Gabe.
I guess at that time he didn't feel so thankful for getting a new baby brother that demands most of his Mom and Dad's attention. It must be rough going from always getting the attention when wanted to having to share.
Anyway, the next morning Nicolas woke up and said ohhh, Gabriel is so cute, can I hug him? He then gave him a big hug and said he loved him, that made me feel a little better, it was nice to see the warm brotherly love! Gabe always looks at Nicolas and smiles, Nico is the best at keeping him entertained just by being himself. I hope they grow up to be buds.

Happy Birthday Nico Man

Wow! Nico turns 3 today, where did the time go?? Someone told me one time, the days are slow but the years are fast and it couldn't be more true!
Nico is enjoying his new status as a BIG brother, he seems concerned when Gabe cries and tries to include him when he's playing. I think he will enjoy him more and more as Gabe gets bigger.

Gabe is doing so much better than in past weeks, we have him diagnosed with reflux so he is on zantac and feeling well. He's a huge eater so he is gaining weight like crazy, for his 2 month check up he weighed over 12 pds. He smiles and coos like his older brother did when he was a baby, you never can get enough of those grins! We are enjoying are new crazy life with 2 little boys and wondering how on earth we could ever handle another :) 2 may be our magic number!

Been awhile!

It's so hard to post right now, Gabriel has some reflux so he has been so irritable that I have little time to be on the computer. We have switched him to a hypoallergenic and super expensive formula and he is doing much better mood wise and the zantac helps the reflux feel better so I hope we are on a up hill climb and not down anymore, it's been pretty rough the last few weeks.
Nicolas is doing great, I didn't see him today and noticed he had closed my bedroom door, when I looked in he was in the dog crate with our dog Gizmo. He told me I could leave to go bye bye to his Spanish class since he was crated with the dogs, he didn't want to go.
He is super silly! I can't wait for Gabriel to get a little older so they can play!

Welcome Little Brother!

We are doing well, Nico is adjusting great to having a new little brother. Now if I could only get the baby to sleep more than 3 hour stretches we would be wonderful!
